As the Std. X CBSE result of 2020- 2021 was announced on Tuesday, August 3rd 2021, it was a joyous red letter day for Indian School Sohar. It was a proud occasion for the school as its students achieved a 100 per cent result with all its 172 students soaring with great scores. This was the first ever Class X CBSE result in which no formal final examination was conducted. It is lauded as the result of determination, hard work and perfect strategy put in by the students throughout the year.

With a marvelous score of 99.6%, Krithyaa Vijayanand has topped the Class X Examination bagging the First position in the school. She is very closely followed by Swati Rajesh securing the Second position in the school with 99% while, Rohan Suchithran and Aaron Mathew Koshy share the Third position with a score of 98.2 %.

The sujbect-wise highest marks are scored by the following students:

English, 99 Marks: Krithyaa Vijayanand, Rohan Suchithran, Aadiya Dilna Anish and Sree Sankar Pradeep

Mathematics, 100 Marks: Krithyaa Vijayanand, Swati Rajesh and Aaron Mathew Koshy

Science & Social Science, 100 Marks: Krithyaa Vijayanand

Hindi, 99 Marks: Krithyaa Vijayanand, Swati Rajesh, Charu Misra, Sharon Sujan, Pakhi Golyan, Abreo Sheryl Oswals and Saakshi

Arabic, 95 Marks: Rohan Suchithran, Aadiya Dilna Anish and Minha Saleem

Malayalam, 98 Marks: Rishika Rajesh, Rekha Shriyaa Kishore, Seethalekshmy Sukumar

The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma said, “The Covid-19 pandemic did not deter the spirits of the students and teachers. The school is very proud of the students whose results are a prestige to the institution and most of all for their future. It was possible due to the dedication of the students, unswerving guidance of the teachers and the continual support of the parents.”

The President, Mr. Abraham George and members of the School Managing Committee commended the feat of the students and the relentless work of the school as a team under the able-guidance of Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma, that enabled the students to rise up above all difficulties and prove themselves.

The Vice-Principal, Dr. Vinu Kumar appreciated the team saying, "In spite of the many uncertainties related to exam the students and teachers stayed motivated to give their best."

Supervisor Mr. Yashvir Singh thanked all the teachers for their hard work, staying connected to the students and navigating the challenging times successfully.

Thus, the result reflected the efforts of students, the dedicated work of teachers and the support and guidance of the Principal. The students and parents appreciated the school and teachers saying that the school has been very supportive and rendered best possible help. A few others said that it was a blessing to them as they could clear their doubts at anytime of the day.

The Management, Principal, Vice-Principal and staff congratulated the students for their fabulous performance and thanked the parents for their unstinted support.
