Ministry of Health, Oman in collaboration with Ministry of Education, Oman launched a massive vaccination programme to immunize the students of community schools (between 12 -18 years) against COVID -19.
Indian School Sohar was the centre for the students of Indian School Sohar, Pakistan School Sohar, Bangladesh School Sohar and Bangladesh School Saham on 14th August 2021.
Parents and students profusely thanked the Ministry of Health, Oman and Ministry of Education and all accompanying health care professionals for the vaccination drive.
Arrangements made by Indian School Sohar were appreciated by all the visitors. A special photo booth was set up for the occasion. Children enjoyed clicking selfies and sending them to their near and dear ones.
Safe and effective vaccines are a game-changing tool: but for the foreseeable future we must continue wearing masks, cleaning our hands, ensuring good ventilation indoors, physically distancing and avoiding crowds.
