Indian School Sohar participated in STAI 2021, organized by Indian School Salalah on 25th & 26th September 2021, a two day programme conducted virtually, under the aegis of the Board of Directors of Indian schools in the Sultanate of Oman.
STAI-2021, a plethora of Science, Technology and Innovative events, was aimed to provide a digital platform to showcase the immense scientific talents of young minds at Inter School level. Students from 18 Indian schools of Oman participated in this mega event.
Indian School Sohar students participated in events like Mobile App Development, Computer Game Development, Designing AI Chatbot, Science spell bee, Science comic strip, Science and Maths quiz, Designing 3D model and Science photography.
Rohan Suchithran of class XI B bagged second runner up position in Science & Maths Quiz.
Sachin Janarathinam of XII B, Shivam Kumar Dubey of XII B and Sohan Vinod of XII C secured A+ grade in Chatbot/AI project. Dhruvi Hirenkumar Joshi of IX C, secured A+ grade in Science Debate.
Ujjaval Pandey of IX A, Somya Arora of IX C and R. Nitinkisor of IX B secured B grade for Computer Game Development. Nithya Ajayan of XI A secured B grade in Science photography.
Prithika Kishore of VII B, R. Nitinkisor of IX B, Rohan Suchithran of XI B, Ebin Eldho of VII F and Arnav Singh III D secured winner positions in STAI Daily Quiz challenge.
All the winners and participants received e-certificates. It was an enriching learning experience for all the students and teachers who participated in the mega-event. The Principal congratulated all the winners and participants for their achievements and efforts.
