Indian School Sohar observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, on October 31st, 2021 to commemorate the 146th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron man of India. A virtual special assembly was organised by the department of Social Science. In the special assembly special speeches, thoughts, songs, dances, and videos related to the National Unity Day were presented by the students. A quiz on the life and time of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was also conducted.
The occasion provides us an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to the unity, integrity, and security of our country.
