An awareness program on the harmful effects of using electronic games was conducted on 10.04.22 by Ms. Bushra Al Balushi(sports teacher) from Al Asmaa Bint Al Harith School for the students of class VI. It is very important as students have spent long time with the screens sitting at home during school closure. Two students Ms. Mariyam and Ms. Ferhat from Al Asmaa School interacted with the students and explained the ways to limit the screen time and use the time in physical activities. Students participated in the interactive session actively.
The principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, appreciated the initiative taken by Al Asmaa Bint Al-Harith School and the resource persons to create awareness amongst the students and also guided the students to follow the instructions given by the guest to de-addict from the video games. Supervisor Ms. Indira Sukumaran thanked the guests and the Principal for the whole initiative.
