“The bicycle is a simple solution to some of the world’s most complicated problems”.

On the World Bicycle Day, Physical Education Department of Indian School Sohar organized a bicycle rally, in which more than 100 cyclists of the school participated enthusiastically. Students of Class IV drew a poster on World Bicycle Day and Class V performed the rhythmic dancing with the pom-pom during the rally. Principal, Sanchita Verma waved the green flag off to start the rally and motivated the students to use a bicycle in their daily life to keep fit.

The main aim of the programme was to create awareness among the students about the benefits of cycling. For, cycling daily helps in maintaining physical fitness and getting rid of obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, and diseases. On the whole, the rally was an enticing experience for the students which allured them to do cycling daily.
