In order to impart leadership qualities to the students and let them understand how the administration works, the Junior Investiture Ceremony was held in a grand and dignified manner on September 4th, 2022, at Indian School Sohar. The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Mr. Said Bin Mohammed Al Raisi, Supervisor of Private and International Schools in the General Directorate of Education in North Al Batinah Governorate. The ceremony was conducted with a high degree of earnestness and passion. It was the occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. The ceremony commenced with the Royal Anthem of Oman and the National Anthem of India followed by the prayer song.
The Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma extended a formal welcome to the honourable guest and presented an Omani lantern symbolizing the sharing of light between two cultures. She emphasized on inculcating the sense of responsibility among the young students. Expressing her gratitude towards His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said, she appreciated the warmth and hospitability of Oman. She thanked the progressive approach of the School Managing Committee and also appreciated the efforts of her colleagues in organizing the events. She applauded the exemplary work of the Council Members from the previous session and awarded them the certificate of appreciation.
The members of the Selection Panel were introduced. The team led by Ms. Alka Singh, Supervisor (III-V) included Ms, Willina Colaco, Faculty Member (III-V) Department of English, Ms. Santy Manesh, Faculty Member (III-V) Department of English and Mr. Nikhil More, Faculty Member (III-V) Department of Physical Education.
The Council Members for the new session marched sprightly and majestically for the proceeding. The badges and sashes were pinned up by the Chief Guest and the Principal. The oath was administered by the Principal, the solemn oath to uphold the duties and responsibilities given to them.

The Junior School Captain Vidit Girdhar proposed the vote of thanks expressing his gratitude towards the school family. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Michelle Lee, Faculty Member Department of Science. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.
