Indian School Sohar celebrated Children’s day on Monday 14th November 2022, with great festive fervour, immense joy, enthusiasm and radiance to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion. Like every year, ISS smeared the occasion as a grand carnival.

Teachers of all the sections took an opportunity to express their love and concern towards the children. The children’s day programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for a complete entertainment by the teachers.

The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, sent a virtual message and wished the children a very bright future and took pride in being a part of the expression of love towards them. Vice-principal Mr Yashvir Singh wished the students through a short inspirational story based on Pandit Jawharlal Nehru. Supervisors from all sections, Ms. Gauri Gadgeel, Ms. Alka Singh , Ms. Indira Sukumaran delivered speeches on the special day.

Teachers presented a gala entertaining event for the students. The programme started with the prayer song, followed by floral tribute to Pt. Nehru by the Vice-principal and the Supervisors. The whole programme was thoughtfully designed to highlight that the children are precious for the teachers and they love them. The children were treated to a melodious medley of songs, colorful dance performances and many more. The exhilaration and enjoyment of the students made every teacher blissful.
