‘’Cinema’s characteristic forte is its ability to capture and communicate the intimacies of the human mind.’’ – Satyajit Ray

As a medium, film is unique because it captures life in a way that cannot be captured through other forms of art.  Under the aegis of the Board of Directors, Indian School Muscat organised the fourth edition of the Indian School Film Festival (ISFF) for the academic year 2022-23 to identify and foster student talents in the art of filmmaking. As a part of the festival, Short Film Making, Animation Films, and Documentary Film Making Competitions are organized for the students of Indian Schools, International, Private, and Government Schools in the Sultanate of Oman.

The students of Indian School Sohar participated enthusiastically and exhibited their talents by making Short Films in the senior and junior categories and Documentary Films in the open category. Out of 22 schools our school students secured A+, A, and B grades respectively for short films. All the participants were awarded certificates.

The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants for their enthusiasm and dedication for being a part of this mega event.
