#ECommunication _For_Better_society is an initiative of Ministry of Education. Electronic Safety Week was conducted in our school from 5th March to 9th March 2023, with the aim of creating awareness about online safety among students, teachers, and parents. The week-long event was a great success, with active participation from all stakeholders.

Power Point presentations were delivered to the students to help them understand the dangers of the internet and how to be safe online. The presentations covered topics such as cyber bullying, phishing, malware, and online privacy. The students found the presentations informative and engaging, and they were able to understand the importance of online safety.

A quiz was conducted using Google Form to test the students' knowledge on cyber safety. The quiz included questions on various topics such as cyber bullying, phishing, malware, and password safety. The students participated enthusiastically in the quiz, and the results were shared with them to help them understand the areas where they need to improve their knowledge.

The students were given tips on how to be a good digital citizen. They were advised to use the internet responsibly, be respectful to others online, and protect their personal information. The students were also taught about the importance of digital footprints and how to manage them.

Tips were shared with parents on how to protect their children online. They were advised to monitor their children's online activity, use parental control software, and talk to their children about online safety. The parents found the tips useful and were appreciative of the efforts made by the school to create awareness about online safety.

Flyers and posters were created and displayed in the school board to promote online safety. The flyers contained important tips on online safety, and the posters had catchy slogans to attract the students' attention. The students found the flyers and posters informative and engaging, and they were able to understand the importance of online safety. Staff members of the school were abreast with the initiative by the school Principal through meetings and presentations on cyber safety and its implications.

We have been organizing various programs to create awareness about cyber safety previously too; like conducted program -Be internet awesome for the students, poster making event by students on good digital citizen, orientation on cyber safety by Royal Oman Police etc.
