Congratulations to the Chess players from Al-Karama school in Sohar and the young shuttlers from Balaj School Saham, Al Turaif School, Sohar for winning gold and bronze medals in Badminton respectively, as well as the young paddlers from Al-Turaif, Hind Bint Al-Muhallab School, Sohar, who secured a bronze medal in Table Tennis. It is impressive to hear about the hard work and dedication of these students, as well as the guidance and coaching provided by Mr. Kuldeep Singh and Mr. Nikhil More.
The Physical Education teachers and supervisors from Balaj School Saham, Al-Karama, Al-Turaif, and Hind Bint Al-Muhallab Schools in Sohar are also commended for their efforts in motivating and supporting their students throughout the tournament. The friendly matches organized by Indian School Sohar provided valuable experience and helped to build confidence in the players.
Overall, the School Olympic Days event organized by the Oman Schools Sports Association from 2nd to 5th March 2023 was an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their talents and compete with their peers from different schools. It is a great way to promote sports and physical activities among young people, and we hope to see more such events in the future.
Principal Sanchita Verma congratulated the coach and the players for their outstanding achievements, and to the schools and teachers for their unwavering support and guidance.
